PLIBELL
The bell was born out of the desire to create a whimsical auditory experience to ringing the bell.
One aspect of the bell is the experience of a musical instrument. By manipulating the brass tube I created flaws that simulate the croaking call of the "Guiro". The other aspect is exposing the mechanism in order to enable the listener to have a visual experience of the process and being part of creating the sound.
The bell is made of a brass tube, which was bent in a machine designed for iron, and the machine crimped the brass. And so a mistake was created around which the whole object was built.
