MARIN UNION
Underwater burial intended for people who want to end their lives a little differently. This way is an alternative to the customary burial, and chosen in advance by the dying person.
The grave is produced by printing ecological concrete according to the measurements of the deceased and joins other graves in the predetermined 'burial site', When the bases allow the acceptance and fixing of new graves, thus the weight of the graves together fix them to the ground and they are resistant to currents and forces in the sea.
The grave has 2 openings of a size that allows sea animals to enter and eat the body, and then serves as a home for them. The printing layers create a complex surface that allows algae and corals to be caught and become the basis of new coral reefs, thus creating a new life for them around the grave as time passes.
